Pearl Heart H6.5 silver plated - Joulupallot

Classic Christmas ornaments with an artistic edge. For many, Rosendahl’s Karen Blixen’s Christmas is the epitome of a cosy and traditional holiday – full of history and festive symbolism that keeps the Christmas spirit alive all the way until Christmas Eve. Ole Kortzau created his first Karen Blixen ornament back in 2007. And every year, new decorations are added in the signature handcrafted quality, made with meticulous care and an eye for detail, ensuring that each piece stands as a small work of art in itself, plated with genuine silver and gold. The 2025 collection includes this silver-plated pearl heart, which gracefully floats, adding a touch of December magic that makes the holiday season truly special. The delicate pearl-adorned heart is inspired by the feeling of bringing out a real pearl necklace for the festive season – reimagined as a Christmas ornament. A refined and feminine tribute to love, beauty, and the warmth of togetherness at Christmastime. Measuring 6.5 cm in height, the ornament works beautifully on its own or together with other small decorations in the collection – perfect for both window displays and the Christmas tree. The motifs in Karen Blixen’s Christmas are often a heartfelt tribute to the way children see Christmas. And while Ole Kortzau’s Christmas stories are rooted in reality, they are not reality itself. That’s why his motifs always have a little twist, a touch of whimsy. Ole Kortzau invites us to pause, take a moment – to enjoy the magic of the season and rediscover classic holiday figures in a new light. This Christmas ornament comes with a fine red string.
