Polyester and other synthetics shed microplastics when washed, so we recommend a washing bag to protect all fabrics and garments from being torn or stretched out in the washing machine. It will also limit microfibre leakage in the washing process, which means preventing microplastics from entering into rivers and oceans.

Garments made out of viscose are breathable and flowy making it very comfortable to wear, but it does need extra care when washing. To avoid viscose losing its shape, it's best to hang it up to dry and gently stretch it out when it is still damp followed by steaming or ironing.

Underwear and lingerie are extra delicate and fragile. So always remember to use a sealed laundry bag. In this way, you are preventing the metal clasp from damaging your washing machine as well.
