The Salvain cupro blouse has a relaxed, straight fit and it is printed in the Patikka pattern. The blouse has a loose, asymmetrical collar with buttons on the side that continue to the shoulder. The sleeves are dropped at the shoulders and have pleated cuffs.
The cupro in this product is made from by-products of cotton production.
Our shirts are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary. Each item is unique.
The Patikka (hike) pattern consists of leaf-like shapes cut from paper that lay out a route on the fabric – an analogy to hiking in the forest, admiring the nature. Patikka is a pattern pair to Antti Kekki’s earlier design, the abstract Kevätkiuru (spring lark), which has been featured in Marimekko’s home collection. The rhythm and composition of Patikka are designed with clothing in mind.
