The GEL-NYC™ sneaker sources inspiration from heritage and modern performance running styles.
Its upper construction references the GEL-NIMBUS™ 3 shoe from the early 2000s and blends it with various embellishments from the GEL-MC PLUS™ V shoe design. The overlays are also updated with patent synthetic leather for a premium finish.
The tooling contrasts the upper's retro influences by using the GEL-CUMULUS™ 16 shoe's tooling system. The sneaker's soft cushioning properties are left intact. It features dual GEL™ technology inserts, FLUIDRIDE™ technology, and FLYTEFOAM™ technology to help provide a comfortable feel underfoot.

… men blev nødt til at gå en størrelse op, da skoen og sålen inden i, er formet lidt anderledes end “normalt”. Jeg har købt virkelig mange sko fra ASICS og kun en gang før er jeg stødt på, at jeg ikke kunne passe min normale størrelse.

Jeg går stort set kun i Asics gel… købte samme størrelse som jeg plejer, men de var desværre for små… så måtte gå en størrelse op. Men intet dårligt at sige om kvalitet eller design.
