What our customers are saying about casual shorts at Boozt?

A consistent theme in the feedback is the exceptional comfort and soft, flexible material of the shorts. The relaxed, loose fit is frequently praised, making them ideal for warm summer days and beachwear. However, several notes indicate the sizing runs large, with recommendations to size down for a more standard fit. While the quality and feel are highly rated, a recurring point is that the fabric, particularly in lighter colors, can be transparent, which may limit their use without appropriate undergarments. The elasticated waistband found in the selection is generally comfortable.

Are casual shorts for women on Boozt.com good quality?

The construction of the casual wear prioritizes durability and comfort. Garments in this category are produced by our trusted partners in Asia and Europe, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship with reinforced seams and quality stitching for longevity. The material selection, featuring blends like cotton-polyester and lyocell-linen, is chosen for both softness and structural integrity. While some lighter fabrics may have transparency issues, the overall build quality is consistently high, confirmed by positive remarks on the material's feel and resilience. The focus is on creating a reliable garment that maintains its shape and finish through regular wear and washing.

What fabrics to look for in women's casual shorts?

Choosing the right material is key to finding the perfect shorts. Natural fibers like cotton, linen, and viscose are prominent in the collection, prized for their breathability and soft feel against the skin, making them ideal for warm weather. Lyocell and modal blends offer a similar lightweight comfort with an enhanced, fluid drape. For added durability and shape retention, blends incorporating polyester or a small percentage of elastane provide flexibility and resilience. These materials are selected to ensure the shorts remain comfortable and maintain their fit, even after repeated laundering, without excessive wrinkling or loss of structure.

How should casual shorts look and feel right for different fits?

A proper fit ensures comfort without sacrificing silhouette. The waistband should sit securely at the natural waist or hips without digging in, and the fabric should drape smoothly over the seat and thighs without pulling or bunching. The leg openings, often designed with a wider outseam for a relaxed look, should allow for unrestricted movement. For shorts with an elasticated waist, the band should lie flat and not twist. The overall fit is generally relaxed and slightly generous, so for a closer-to-body feel, consider sizing down.
